John Esposito is Al Waleed bin Talal Professor at the Center for Christian-Muslim Understanding, Georgetown University. He has authored numerous books and articles on Islam. Ihsan Yilmaz is an associate professor of political science at Fatih University, Istanbul, Turkey.
